Choosing and caring for houseplants

Houseplants are much more than merely decorative materials which are placed at the corner of your homes. They are emotionally attached to you, which in return helps to spread positivity throughout your house. There are different kinds of houseplants which can even accompany you in small places. All you need to do is buy some and enjoy a good day with them, sipping your cup of tea.

While houseplants may look beautiful, it is essential to care for them. We will cover this point later in our blog but for starters, you cannot just buy a plant and keep it without water for a week. They are living beings just like us. They too deserve all the love there is. If you get a plant, you can definitely consider them as your baby. 7.      Parlor palm: These upright plants are perfect to keep at the corner of your homes. Their long leaves beautifully fall down and create a perfect atmosphere of beauty. They can grow up to 8 feet tall and are perfect for homes. They can grow in low lights too.


8.      English Ivy: These plants look pleasant in wall hangings and can change the entire look of your house. They look pretty while hanging and their stems grow long.  They require minimal water throughout the week and can withstand light sunlight.

3.  Keep giving them nutrition: Adding compost to soil helps them to retain water and nutrients. Compost provides nutrition to soil by keeping both soil and plant healthy.

4.  Keep trimming dry and extra plant leaves: When a plant grows dry leaves, you can retain the healthy plant by trimming the leaves. Getting rid of old leaves can help the plants grow healthier.

5.  Do not keep changing pots: Plants need to adapt to their habitats. Do not regularly change pots. Do that when you think the plant is too big for the pot and the space.
